Millions of puppets!
Phew i have FINALLY finished making 36 finger puppets for a toddler activity bag swap.
The aim of the ame was to create 12 identical activty bags full f somethign to entertain a toddler. Especially handy for long car trips, wiaitng rooms, queues etc
i singed up to do felt finger puppets and thought sweet as, but then i realised if i made 3 per bag that was 36! sooooooooooooo it has taken me AGES!!!
I didnt have enough felt in my stash to do them all identical so i have done two differnt sets, dinosaurs and farm animals.
All laid out
In their bags ready to roll!
ill let you know what i get back in return!!

Yarn dyeing
I have become a little obbsessed with dyeing yarn and THINKING about dyeing yarn hahaha.
After two attempts with normal everyday food colouring, i am ready to move up to the big players and shell out for some acid dyes. Food colouring is just not hardcore enough for me.
Here is my first atempt at food colouring for a TNN swap
"Willy Wonka Yarn"
The rich veletly reds of Burtons Wonkas coat, purple from his gloves, blue for Violents blueberry transformation
And here is my second atempt
"Sookie Stackhouse yarn"
For another TNN swap ( she hasnt recieved it yet but it is goign on the post today, prety sure she doesnt read my blog) The character from True Blood, the turquiose of her uniform, the blode of her hair, the pink and purple of her sweet nature and blood red of course!

Knitting up a storm!
I really should come on here and update more regulary. Ive been making lots of stuff but have been too busy knititng to take photos and share with you! Ive been kniting so much that my index finger on my right hand split yesterday because it had been over worked! hehe but i soldiered on.
Here are my first attempts at knitting longies.
The first ones are from my TNN Yarn Swap yarn, moddeled by Flynn. I used the "Picky Pants" Pattern on Circs
These second nes were for a 1st Birthday swap i took part in with some online friends. Picky Pants pattern again but this time with Gabes ruffle on the bottom, The Wool Companys "Gelato" yarn.
I felt like making my lovely sister a pressie for when i see her this weekend and what better for winter than a nice wooly headband to hold back her dreads and warm her ears! Pattern here
The of course i wanted one for myself too..... The Wool Company "Oasis" yarn
