Christmas Giveaway :)


Well i was too late to join in the sewmamasew bloggers giveaway day, but thought i would have one anyway :)

Up for grabs, some delicious 10ply Luxury hand dyed yarn inspired by Ron Weasley ( my new fictional crush ;) hehehe)

I have a couple of fictional crushes... the most long-standing one is Han Solo. Mr Darcy is another one who's been around for a while. More recently added to the list are Jayne Cobb from Firefly, Wolverine from X-Men, and Faramir from Lord of the Rings (the novel, not the movie). Ummm, did I say a couple???

(I can't tell you just how much research went into finding out who he was!!) A little on the old side but he held it well.

I'd be tempted to flirt a little with Perry Mason as portrayed by Raymond Burr. I'm not a big Burr fan. He's a good actor, but I've never seen him in anything else that sparked any romantic intrest. I'll jump on the Mr Darcy bandwagon, too. Though I've also tend to get a little weak in the knees at Col Brandon from Sense and Sensibility, too. (That Alan Rickman played him in my favorite movie version doesn't hurt, either.) While this is probably a geeky thing to admit to, I also maybe kind of have a teeny tiny thing for a romanticized version of Snape. *hide*

My fictional crush is definitely Sherlock Holmes. Has been since I was about nine years old, but the recent BBC series with Benedict Cumberbatch certainly helped!
