I am unconvinced on the merits of the giveaway though, as even though i had 246 people visit and comment, i have only had 2 new followers. So while its great to win giveaways, its pretty obvious that the aim wasn't to discover news blogs now was it? ;)

Don't think I'd be counted as a follower either - I see your posts via Ravelry friends blogs. You prob have more of a following than you think!
I don't become a follower either, I just add them to my favourites or blogroll :) I added quite a few to my favourites though doing the giveaways. I spent HOURS though entering!
